About us
A subsiduary of www.proarb.co.uk - Woodfuels (Wales) Ltd was established in 2013 due to an increasing demand for reliable Biomass chipping services and renewable energy fuel supply. Serving North/Mid Wales and North West England, Woodfuels (Wales) Ltd provides an important link in the biomass fuel supply chain and the range of forestry services provided by WFW provides forest and woodland owners with a "forest to furnace" solution to biomass.

June 14 - Arrival of New Biomass Chipper
Due to the continual expansion of the business,WFW are pleased to have received delivery of a new MUSMAX 8XL Biomass Chipper. The machine was supplied by DOW Mus-Max Ltd of Dittion Priors, Shropshire and is fitted with an 8.6m reach Epsilon timber crane and Grab. The new machine is capable of outputs of approx 90 m/cu per hour and chip quality is consistent due to the innovative design of the chipper drum which is laser cut to improve chipping performance and chip quality. May 14 - Going Green
We are pleased to announce that our latest addition to the fleet a Valtra T203 Tractor uses
SCR technology which helps clean exhaust emissions by using a urea-water solution (AdBlue) – the technology has been used in heavy vehicles for years. By eliminating harmful nitrogen oxide emissions, the combustion in the engine can be made more efficient with four-valve technology and higher injection pressures. The entire injection system is new.
Efficient combustion also means improved fuel consumption – by up to 10% compared with previous engines. The SCR technology employed by Valtra utilises a combination of a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR).
